I'll send you a sample of my feijoa stuff if you want, who knows, maybe you'll 'dislike' it just as much :)
Richard - Why did you remove your comment about NZ vodka being distilled from Fonterra's whey???
Surely this is something we should all be educated on ;o)
Can't find a reputable source relating specifically to 42b - Wouldn't want to slander them excessively unless I'm dead certain. Much of the neutral spirits in NZ are distilled dairy biproducts (whey) though, from these guys http://www.fonterra.com/wps/wcm/connect/fonterracom/fonterra.com/ho... .
The resulting liquid, known as beer, is then fractionally distilled under carefully controlled conditions through stripping and rectifying columns to remove other impurities.
Brilliant! But I thought it was "Bilk" ???
And the distillate is Milka.
LOL, beer eh?? *vom* fu*k would hate to think how horrendous it would taste!! Some beer :oP
No worries JR. We have a press officer, and all those things go through the committee. And no, I promise you the Green Man thing wasn't deliberate on Green Man's part. In fact, they were a little nervous due to legal issues. ;) I'm glad it worked out for them though.
The best publicity is positive word of mouth based on sustained quality. Everything else is just flash, and doesn't last. (Yeah right). ;)
I thought the best publicity was to turn up to another brewer's birthday party, in bright clothing, and convert the masses to your (much better) beers.
Hmmm... time for a publicity strategy rethink. Might be best to use Neil Miller's Meeting Room 1.
