Imperial IPA Hopping Schedule

Going to do an Imperial IPA and woundering if the hoping schedule is a little OTT. 29g Per litre? Epic armagedon is 9.5g but it is'nt a Imperial IPA heres the Hoping Schedule anyway. Have Added first wort hoppings as to help in Utilization and to smooth out the bitterness anyone tried it? And is it aqll what it craked up to be? Any thoughts

Riwaka is only 4~5 AA, aren't centential, amarillo greater than 8AA?

This is starting to sound like a "Who's is bigger than who's" type of competition....

...but I had 34g per Liter when I brewed Naked Poppy. I had 620g in total and there was 18 Liters of hoppy goodness!

On another note, I was planning on brewing an Iced IPA like what that bloody "Sink the Bismark" is, but it looks like those pricks beat me to it. I would have been shooting for about 20 - 25% abv and would have used approx 50gms per liter of hops.

Its not as though I dont have enough.

if Armageddon is really "only" 9.5 g/L then I dare say HopWired is the hoppiest beer in NZ...? 18.5 g/L of final product. hoppiest commercial beer of course, you home brewers are just mental:)

When you guys talk about g/L, is that overall total total? ie do you differentiate between the 'purely' bittering hops and the flavour/aroma hops?

Me too - good thing I got a few bottles on my doorstep from Regional's yesterday! Just a shame I have to share it with a dozen others as part of a beer tasting on the weekend...
