Hey a friend of mine wanted me to tack some extra hops onto an order. He's a newbie in the brewing scene and wants to put a nice porter together. I reckoned green bullet on the bittering should be good. Thoughts?
southern cross and pac jade are my house bittering hops. I have used green bullet in the past and wasnt too pleased with the results but that might as well have been my own fault, not the bullet's, my brewing techniques weren't the best back then:)
generally green bullet has a bad name, which is why I was suprised when I stumpled over this:, from the creaters of "Stormakts porter"
I think single hop green bullet IPA is on my charts for future brews...

No, but I did do both a pale and a brown with super alpha .. Probably not great recipe fomulation, not great beer . . . There may even be a thread on it, nt sure
Ok guys, newbie alert. I will be attempting my first brew soon and need a basic stout recipe using steeped grains and extracts. Something that I can build upon and have some give and take in the quality department. Cheers guys.
I dont have the hardware for anything all grain but wish to have a quality product that can be recreated in all grain after a bit of tweaking and refining.
