Gentlemen start your kettles!

CS3 was fantastic with some of the beers entered in the case swap winning medals at the SOBA NHC. A big congratulations to Mr Cherry for Torsion, an obvious favourite in the case swap which hit the numbers for the NHC judges.

Another big thank you to those who provided feedback on the beers, and Stu for his musically inspired feedback!

Only 16 places are available for the case swap so those who wish to be involved in CS4 please reply to this thread by September 25th so plans can be made. If we get more people than places we will run a lottery.

The date scheduled for the swap will be December 11th, which will hopefully make it possible to get our beers around the country without too many issues with the post (and make for an interesting Christmas).

Any issues or opinions, please let us know as there was quite a bit of discussion about this for CS3.

Cheers

If you, Dale and Soren have your bottle ready sooner and here, then I can send ours away sooner rather than later.
My smoked porter is not quite ready yet, I am desperately trying to get it to ferment more! You need it by the 11th, right? If before I can bottle something else, have a couple of brews in the fermenters too.
Yes 11th is the last date, I want to send it as close to that date as possible.
Ok, so everyone needs to make sure their booty is at one of the pick up zones (Akld, Wgtn, ChCh) by the 11th? We mix up what we get then ship them out over the weekend. Remix the new arrivals for pick ups during the following week. Does that sum it up?

I just want to make sure I get it right (wouldn't want to end up with copious amounts beer to share amongst - myself... ;-)
To the letter.
Thats it in a nutshell Matthew, appreciate your assistance :o)

Im bottling my contribution today, my Little IPA, 3.4% and 80 odd IBU with over 200gms of hops in 20 litres ;o) Yummy, allthough a wee bit out of balance but if you think so you should just harden up :oP lol
If its stopped fermenting alot of the time theres not much you can do, ive had beers finish at 1028 before but they still tasted balanced and drinkable..
You can have mine by this Friday
