i've been reading about freezing and slanting yeast and i think i'm going to give slanting a go when i get set up for it but it also got me thinking about commercial bottle conditioned beers and possible strains they use for slanting and making starters from!
anyone have any ideas which beers are bottle conditioned? and which yeasts they may use?
i recently had emersons weizenbock which had some yeast left in the bottom but that was before i read about slanting!
any suggestions?
