I need to thin out the "yeast library" otherwise my wife will kill me. Apparently me filling half of the food fridge with jars of yeast is not acceptable. Anyway, I have the following available free to a good home:
2 x Wyeast 3711 French Saison (the good one that chews through everything)
2 x Wyeast 3522 Belgian Ardennes
2 x Wyeast 1764PC Rogue PacMan
1 x Mystery Strain (harvested in the last couple of months but I forgot to label it so I can't remember what it is! Will be an Ale of some sort though)
All are in Mason jars or similar. I don't wash the yeast as such, so all will have some trub mixed in but I've been using this practise for a year or so now and never had a problem. If you make a starter they should definitely kick up.
You'll need to collect, and I'm on the North Shore in fair Auckland.
Cheers,
Martin
