Why do people even bother eh? Have a whingy why dont ya Bernard but dont stuff it up for everyone else :oP No doubt people can actually go and buy this said 'cheap booze' just down the road from Hashigo Zake??? So how is giving a quality establishment an off licence going to affect anything??
Its a joke really... Maybe Bernard owns a bar next door or something? lol
So who is this guy any way? Never heard the name. Just some random that's annoyed with the young fullas next door having piss ups or is he in the government or something?
What a pleb, you can't help but get wound up reading those letters. He's ovbiously not got a clue. haha just finished the rest of the pages, drinking causes you to smoke legal and illegal drugs?! WTF! Oh and everyone who drinks also smokes the P pipe afterwards with their kebab lol.
"Wellington has become a drunken gay party place" lol tastic
Small guy with a big grudge who just wants to rain on everyone's parade. I'd say "just ignore him", but unfortunately for HZ, they don't have that option. :( What a loser.
Funny enough Bernard is trying to inivertanly create the establishment that Dominic has achieved!! He's trying to take on NZ drinking socitey, just like Soba. Maybe Soba needs to get in contact with Bernard and take him for an education at Hashigo. Instead of just drawing a line in the sand with him on one side and alchahol on the other, maybe if he see's the like's of the establishments that promote beer or alcahol based drinks and a ambience and not just alcahol and a good time maybee he will pick his fights (which he should) instead of generalising on establishment as a whole!!
I called in to Galbraiths on my way to Auckland lastnight and had a Pint of Bob Hudsons. It lasted about 2 minutes. Christina asked if I was drinking it so fast because I wanted to get another pint (she said I was only allowed to have one). The truth of the matter is that it was probably the best pint of Bob Hudsons I had ever drank. I wish it lasted longer - but unfortunately i was too quaffable.
Damn it - when that beer is right, it's just soooooo right.
I might have to call in there after lunch for another.
