Ok, so What Are You Brewing was a hotty, as topics go.

Now I'm 15 pints into a keg I only filled on Tuesday and wondering if anyone else has a favourite at the moment ?

It's my second brown with US-Oh05 and it's better than the forst, maybe Ikept the temps down a bit during the scorcher we had in januray

Emersons Brewers Reserve 'Very Brown Ale' - currently on tap at Poms. Had one last night and wasn't too keen, all huskiness and too much chocolate but tonight tasted smoother and richer but nicely bitter.
Pukie Too hydro sample tonight.
Day 4 and it's clearing nicely.
Not as much crystal as I'd expected.
It's Brown malt with a hint of black with werthers butterscotch start to finish. It's been 4 days at 18C and it's 1.011 which is nearly there I think so I'll bring the temp up
I'm guessing that there's only 5 or 6 pints of Pukie 1 left in the keg so roll on #2 !
Last night:
Merchant of The Devil 2005
Merchant of The Devil 2006
Merchant of The Devil 2007
Merchant of The Devil 2008

2005 and 2007 were my picks. Outstanding. All of them have a lot of life left in them.

And some Firestone Walker 12th Anniversary Ale.

A couple of bitters (one 'green' hopped) and a mild, an ESB and an Imperial Red... a Bookie. Bed.

Lunch today... because it is Friday... Fullers Vintage 2006. Not sure if I'll have the 2005 or the 2000 for dinner.
show off
I had a 2006 Epic Mayhem and 2007 Epic Porter yesterday. Not bad condition on the Mayhem, showing a little haze, aroma gone but hop flavour is there still. Bottled August 2006.
Some homebrew Stu?
Kieran Haslett-Moore (now of Regionals). It was his flatmate Adam's leaving do and he sure showed off some outstanding Imperial Stout. The 2005 beer is easily as good as any Imperial Stout I've ever tried... certainly the best I've tried in the British-style. The 2007 I've been lucky enogh to hae twice in the last two weeks. He gave me a bottle when we launched Yeastie Boys and Sam and I drunk it last week while doing some 'design' work on one of our next projects.

The Firestone 12th was a big barrel-aged Bourbon bomb, as you might expect. Props to Brendon MacKenzie for bringing that.
Nice,

All I have is a Rouge Stout and Unibroue Blance de Chambly
After reading about the Merchant on Kieren's blog i would have loved to try it before i skedadled! sounds like a fantastic beer all i've ever heard about it are good things!
Got some harvey's imp 2003 at the pub at the mo so i'm gonna get a couple of those to take away i reckon....last shift today!
A bottle of Kid Chocolate.

Maybe one of the last?
There's a couple sat in my fridge at home.

I've got a Epic (Pale Ale & Lager) and Tuatara (Porter and Pale Ale) in the office beer fridge, then I'll be up the road to Galbraiths later.
They had a dry-hopped SPA on stillage on the bar Wednesday night, but alas it wasn't ready. I might have to try and pop in myself.
