Youve got a stirplate dontcha? You should be able to get a 1056 starter going no worries bro?
Yeah it close but the 1056 is a few months old?
Youll be fine buddy, ive kicked off some yeast that was 5 months old and it was sweet as..
Sorry mate, can't help out there. I gave up on US-05 after my last 2 dodgy packs.
Wotcha using now Mr C ?

Sorry Mike, only one sachet left - using it to brew the willyale on the weekend
Drinking S04, fermenting S33 and conditioning (carbonating) / recycling some 1056 that I got from Craftbrewer.

EDIT: And next up is likely Wb-06
Hey Mike, you look different in your new picture. Those high gravity beers don't seem to be agreeing with you. Have you considered brewing something smaller?
Nah I love the broken look that the high gravity beers give me I find it to be quite Exillirating!!
Palmerston north brew shop has some, you might be able to get them to courier it down fast if your happy to pay for the privilege.
I've got a pack of S-05 you can have.

What are you brewing? I'm kegging a brown ale tonight - I could save you some 1028 slurry if a well-attenuating english yeast would do.
I have a IPA with SO5 I could transfer into a secondry and put the slurry in that? Its just got 180g of dryhop in it though so dont know? I might ring Praparaumu store I may have to make a trip up!!
I wouldn't use that slurry, the yeast would be a bit tired I reckon.
