Tahi - Cafe and Specialist Beer Bar celebrate 1 year

Hi guys anyone heading north and fancying a real beer is welcome to stop in and help us at Tahi celebrate our 1st birthday. Starts Friday 27 Feb with guitarist extraordanaire Grete Fischer and then Saturday 28th the good folk from Leigh Sawmill Brewing are bringing a couple of brews along to sell. Add to that about fifty different bottled beers (nothing from lion or DB ;-) and Hofbrau Original and Weiss Beer on tap and a bit of jazz from 2 till 4 and DJ James Wickison from 7 till 12. The more the merrier.

I allready love this place!! Could be the go friday night, if I make it up ill ask for ya and say hi, if youre not too busy of course :oP

Edit : Also, congrats on making it past the 1st year!! (apparantly the hardest for a NZ business)

Good stuff Ian... I only just spotted this now. I hope the second year is better than the first.
And I hope this post bring the cafe back to a few folks attention. People up north sure do lament the lack of good beer but there are plnety of chances to get if if you are willing to go the extra mile...
