Ok, so What Are You Brewing was a hotty, as topics go.

Now I'm 15 pints into a keg I only filled on Tuesday and wondering if anyone else has a favourite at the moment ?

It's my second brown with US-Oh05 and it's better than the forst, maybe Ikept the temps down a bit during the scorcher we had in januray

I've gone all Belgian this last week:

Affligem Blonde... awesome lemon jelly magic, dry and spicy. Dubbel and Triple are in the fridge.
Framboise Boon 2004... fruity, dry, astringent, kind of metallic (like blood). Friggin' fantastic.
Duvel... Why don't I drink more of this beast?
Chimay White... pretty good too.
My own Belgian Pale... somewhere between WLP500 and WLP550 is a yeast i really really like. The beer is a gem of a lesson in the difference that yeast makes. It even blew Brendon away when he popped in and sampled them on Monday.

Hop shortage... who cares!!??
I forgot to mention Maresdous Blonde at D4. I stopped in for one yesterday but it was so good I just had to have a second...
Maresdous Blonde? Is it on Tap? its might be a little bit of me after work!!
had one last friday....quite enjoyed it...

Quite easy to drink aye, im not normally a fan of Belgians but this was a quaffer! Had it on tap at Hallertau
I just happened to call past Hallertau the other day. Their Wheatbeer is absolutely devine. I had a couple of those to make sure and my opinion didn't change. I then finished off with his Stuntwoman-seasonal pilsener. At 9% and heavily hopped, it was another stunner. Get out and try them if you can.
I think I know what I'll be doing on Monday now...
ooh, good call Grandmaster S. It's been a while since I was way out west.
I had the wheat beer last night. Lots of banana in the aroma. Not a wheat beer fan though, so I won't be having any more. I was more than happy with the Deception, which is in fine form atthe moment.

Martin
Monteiths Pilsner.
Yes that's right. Best of a bad bunch at Friday drinks.
When I get home it'll be a fresh pint of bitter.
Epic. I have my own stash in the work fridge so I don't have to make a 'choice' from the drinks trolley - which is either Steinlager Pure or Speights

:-)
For Friday drinks right now... Old Speckled Hen, Tuatara Pilsner and Epic... I've turned my staff into beer snobs, so can't get away with serving them weasel piss anymore and keeping the good stuff for myself. Next step is to install the beer tower in the kitchenette.
