Sickening huh?

I have a full day of shit to deal with tomorrow, I will spend most of it dreaming of Nelson
And then you'll have a TWISTED HOP IPA and Kempicus will be dreaming of that...
Excuse my ignorance guys, but I am now fascinated by the notion of Twisted Hop IPA. So if this elixir is cask matured and naturally carbonated I imagine I need to go to Christchurch to try it? Surely it isn't bottled, or is it? Are you lucky enough to get it on tap in Auckland?
Cheers,
Ian
You're right, unfortunately.
The Twisted Hop generoulsy donated a cask to SOBA's homebrew beer festival last year, so a few lucky Wellingtonians got some, but it is generally drunk only after a flight to Chch.
My comment above was a little tongue in cheek. Kempicus has gone all funny over the IPA since his trip down to Chch last weekend.
A bit funny ?
I think he's bouncing about like Jake The Peg at the mere mention of it
Ah right! Well, it sounds as though a pilgrimage (pilsnerage?) is required to Chch sometime then. Just four hours drive from here. Mmmm?
I have developed a nervous twitch which i think is due to going cold turkey....
I had 2 pints last weekend. The first taste is pure grapefruit juice. After that, it turns into a nicely balanced bitter beer.

As I took the last sup of the second I realised it was 6.4% and kicked like a mule. It's dangerously well balanced, much moreso than their other beers I reckon
But kempicus gets obsessed with every new beer he tries :oP .

Like when he brewed an APA and was telling me to put late hops in an Oktoberfest :o) lol
Yeah that's true....i can't get enough of export 33 at the moment ;0)
yeah sorry about that...i am obsessed with late hopping my beers at the moment!
Haha, gold, go the 33 :oP
If you are quick (and down south) a small cask of Twisted Hop IPA is about to go on at Eureka in Dunedin as I type.
The 'Hop boys are not adverse to their beers being taken abroard. We act as 'exclusive' distributor, get your local guv'nor to make contact with me and we can arrange keg or cask varieties to suit. Skull Buggery anyone...???
