Yeastie Boys 'Pot Kettle Black' Porter - Last Keg

Craig Bowen, at BeerNZ, has sneakily held back the last keg of Yeastie Boy's first batch. We're off to brew the second beer at the end of this week but we'd like SOBA members and the RealBeer community to decide where that last Pot Kettle Black keg goes.

So...

Where would you like to see it go? Vote for your preferred location and give us a reason why? We'll approach them and hopefully (assuming they want to keep it funky like Lee Dorsey) they'll have it on tap as soon as possible.

Sam was talking to Ian (Galbraith's brewer) yesterday and he thought it would be on next week. Will let you know...

Is it there yet? Heading out for dinner tonight and tossing up between the C&B or Galbraiths, if the Yeasty boys is in ill go to Galbraiths...

Ian was going to send an email when it went on...
Could be wort a call to see if it is on now.
Tuatara IPA was on before it, so it would be worth picking Galbraith's on that alone (and their fine real ale of course!). They expected the Tuatara keg to finish early this week. Get through the IPA and you will be rewarded with a Black IPA.

I just got a text from Sam, who is there now. Tuatara keg not far from finished so Yeastie Boys, according to staff, "should be on tomorrow".

Aucklanders are always complaining about bottle stores bt you sure have some decent bar options.

Sort of, Auckland yes, North Shore no... The shore is flooded with fags who think Heineken on tap is out of this world awesome ;oP And crappy ponce bars that charge $7 for 300mls of Tui!!!!!!

And I havnt had a problem with bottle stores up here, just nothing close to Regionals...

It's going on tomorrow. Only one keg and it is the last one in the country.
Reviled - If you're lucky, and Sam's friends don't drink it all, you might still have a chance to get some on Thursday.

Mate, got there last night and the guy at the bar said they were down to about 10 litres!!!! Bloody thirsty mate of yours?? ;oP

It was tasting fantastic! I assumed the hops mellowed out a bit in the month or so since its been brewed, but it was a really tasty beer! Could drink it all night :o) Cheers Stu!

Yeah I enjoyed it too, a really tasty beer that you can drink by the pint. At least you could if it wasn't served at -20 degrees.
