Etch O Sketch.

Did a little etching last night in my HLT, worked out pretty good.

Despite the blurry shit photo it's actually crisp and neat. Each line is an exact 1mm tall rectangle.

The only thing is it's a pretty light etch, whether that's because of the nature of these cheap shitty pots, or whether my 9 volt battery was a bit flat, or whether I didn't add enough salt to my vinegar solution, who knows.

But it worked and it's legible. I'm pretty happy with it. So much for 50L pots though, the markings went up to 50 but the pot stops at 45L.

I did the first 5L by weight too, then calculated litre increments with a volume calculator I found online and had the stencil sticker cut to those. Lined the first mark up with the weighed 5L mark and stuck it on.

Cool, did you want any of the o rings I mentioned today in the HBA email?

Yeah, would be happy to take a couple of o-rings off your hands! Cheers. There's a guy on TM who has o-rings, washers and lock nuts...so have asked for a price for combined purchase for those too...where did you source most of your stuff?
