Criticism welcomed, can be hard to get feedback when you're the easternmost all grain homebrewer in the world (unless there's someone on the Chatams).

Hope you enjoy it!

Number two for me!

I got a small aroma from the bottle, very minor stone fruit, apricot / peachy. I like. Quiet thin for an APA. Can't pick the up front taste, but get a malty bitterness on the way down. More stone fruit from the burps. I like. I'd like to say strawberry essence, you know not strawberries, but just a hint like in a strawberry milkshake (fuck I'm weird, I had to go to the cupboard and smell the strawberry essence). And there is the spice! Mouth feel is a little thin and sweet.

I am enjoying this beer thanks for sharing Toot!
Little bit different to what I was expecting having seen APA on the lid.
Nose is strawberry essence with guava. More strawberry in the body with a citrusy flavour, maybe lemons. There's a malt biscuit lurking in amongst the fruit there too.
Not sure its a true to style APA IMO but a very interesting and drinkable beer. Cheers
Having this as my first beer of the day after playing some tag and working on the car (oil and filter change, 4 new tyres, power steering belt. Long greasy day.)

Pours dark amber with off white head, pretty and bright - nice work. Aroma is bready malt and citrussy hops.
My palette is subdued tonight as I'm god dang tired (tyred?) but I'm liking this a lot. Biscuity malt, good balance, nice firm bitterness and good hop flavour making me burp hops. Awesome.
Sure it's not as aggressively hoppy as some APA's but it's most definitely, to my taste anyway, an APA and a good one at that. I'm glad I saved this for tonight, it's going down a treat. Cheers Toot.
easternmost homebrewer in the world, that's pretty cool! I recon I might be the westernmost homebrewer in Blenheim township...:)
Nice beer and just what I feel like after a long hot day at work. I get a distinct berry (black currants maybe) aroma with citrusy hops coming through in the background. taste is nice, balanced with a slight tartness in the background, still get a bit of the berry but mainly hops now.
Well brewed and definitely an interesting and different combo of hops, not the clean crisp citrus hop that one have become used to from APA.

Cheers!
Was looking forward to this as I havnt tried Liberty hops before, pours a dark amber with a white packed head which retains well but no lacing, aroma of blackcurrents, gooseberrys, a tiny hint of orange but not a citrusy orange. Slight toffee taste with more black currents, and some spice! I personally dont like super alpha as a bittering hop as I find it leaves a slight metallic finish and unfortunately I get it in this beer too but thats just me...

Very nice beer, good hop aroma, something new to me which I quite like! I imagine this hop combo might go nice with a Porter or Stout to give it that sort of 'black forest' twist? Cheers mate :o)
