Won't ruin anyones appreciation of the beer with my tasting notes but very keen to hear everyone's feedback. Hope you all enjoy it. Cheers!

EDIT - mine are hand labeled with red pen and fancy pink highlighter frosting. I'm going to take out most metrosexual label this time, i'm sure of it

Pours with a big two finger head which retains very well!! Nice smooth carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel, slightly cloying towards the end of the pint, I really wouldnt have guessed S-05 by tasting it and was surprised when I saw that it was... Not the usual sauvin character that im used to either, alot of earthy peppery notes from the williamette, before looking at the recipe I thought it may had been a williamette single hop as Sauvin is normally alot more dominant!!!

I got two of these, so I'm kind of glad that I enjoyed it. I shared the first bottle with my father in law. We both enjoyed it, I can see where Reviled's comment of cloying comes from but for a single glass that's no issue.

Beer is a lovely clear amber colour with a creamy off-white head. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, just how I like my ales, great appearance and carbonation all round.
Taste is all earthy hop, are you sure that hop-bill is right? Doesn't seem like a lot of sauvin character in there at all.

There is a fairly heavy dose of crystal character, attributing to the slightly darker colour and a fairly pronounced malty-sweet balance which I don't mind at all - the bitterness is cleansing enough for me but it is definitely at that marmaladey end of the scale.

I expected a lot more Sauvin as well - its a rebrew of one I made a while ago and that had more Sauvin characteristics with the Willamette providing a nice back note. Not sure whats happened here but glad you both enjoyed it

Got a good whiff of hops from opening the bottle. Thin off white head dissipates quickly but effectively disseminates the hop aroma! Yum. Tastes f**king awesome up front with a bit of spice. Medium body which comes across velvet like (I guess a little oily?), it's like eating marzipan icing. A little pine and citrus with a hint of honey, like manuka. I think it's a nice drinker with a nice evident bitterness. I would love to try it with a good curry!

Found this beer to be very drinkable had a good balance and was surprised to see all that Sauvin in it. Same as above to me the Sauvin didn't dominate as much as I would have thought. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks

She was pretty frosty brewing today so it seemed appropriate to crack open Pinky here :)

Loved the amber colour it poured, there's something appealing about amber beer. Wasn't getting a lot of hop on the nose so I hope we didn't leave this one too long. Although it's not always the sniffing that counts :P Good spiciness almost a slight pepperyness which I really like about willamette. Missed the sauvin though, I expected it to be quite noticeable as Nelson's not a shy hop at all. In all it went down pretty easy, cheers for the pint!

I was a bit disappointed that this beer wasnt pink when I poured it... but that's were the disappointment ends! Nice aroma, nice flavour, nice mouthfeel although imo it could do with a touch more bitterness. As the others, I didn't pick the sauvin to start with, thought it was willammette with cascade kicker, maybe a touch riwaka. but now that I know, i can sort of pick it up in the background, especially in the aroma. Verdict: very drinkable indeed and as with all the other quaffable beers in thes case swap, just what I felt like in this heat.
