Next Auckland-area meeting: Tahi Bar, Warkworth - 17th October

Our last meeting at Galbraith's was a great success - a very good turnout, some interesting beer and some great conversation. Keep your eyes open for bottled Munich Lager in good bottle stores and restaurants.

The next meeting will be at Tahi Bar in Warkworth. Note that we're changing from our regular second Saturday for this event, so the date to put in your diary is Saturday 17th October at 2pm. For those of you who weren't with us when we paid a brief visit on the way back from the Leigh Sawmill trip, Tahi is a great bar with a decent selection of NZ craft beer. I'm hoping to organise some form of tasting.

As Tahi is a little out of town I'm suggesting we carpool, as we did for the Leigh Sawmill trip. Can you please let me know if you're planning to come along and if you need or can offer a lift?

Just so you can update your diary, the remaining Auckland-area SOBA meetings for the year will be:
Saturday 14th November - Hallertau
Saturday 5th December - Auckland Guild of Winemakers & Brewers annual BBQ (note new date)

I know these are just 3 weeks apart, but I really wanted to join in with the AGWB event - last year's was a great success.

Please let me know about the Tahi trip in the next week or so.

Hi all,

The next meeting is now less than 2 weeks away and so far I've not had a lot of people express interest. In order for me to be sure that we can go ahead with this event can you please let me know by the end of this week:
- if you are planning to come along
- if you need or can offer a lift

Won't matter that I have a 50km Cycle race the next day in Pukekohe.

Unable to attend the 14th November meeting as will be in Wellington, sorting out our new house.
But will definitly be at the BBQ.

I am planning on going, still unsure if ill be able to swindle a driver ;o) but if I do I will be able to supply a ride for one or two people... Otherwise I may need a lift myself...

Can we confirm the date for the Auckland Guild BBQ? Is it on the same day as we had scheduled the Western Brewers competition??
