Hi anyone in Wellington able to spare 2 packs of S-05 for this weekend? I just went in my LHBS and they had none 'i thought it was the Waiarapa out' abd I thought I had 4 packets in the fridge but they turn out to 1 packet of S04 go figure? dumb arse!!! And I dont think I can spin up enough 1056 to inoculate 28L of 1.088 for the NZ Case swap any help?

Mate can I grab the packet of S05 tomorrow? I dont hold hopes for the 1056 it's all bacon bones!! it stunk!!!

FU#KKKKKK to make it worse the 1056 is frozen in the smack pack the only one that has!!!! and I got the starter wort on the boil. Does it matter?

Try it. If it doesn't take off pitch the slurry. If pitching the slurry I'd pitch 1.5 - 2 times what mrmalty's calculator gives you. Or just drop it on the whole cake maybe.

Surely there's a homebrewer or craft/micro in Wellington that can hook you up with some slurry for the exchange of a couple bottles?

I've got one packet of s-05 with march expiry that you can have.

I pitched 2 packets with the same expiry into a brew a couple of weeks ago and it was fine.
