From what I hear Keith Galbraith himself is going to be there, so if anyone can give the OK it would be him. It's definitely not a homebrew tasting session but bring it in and even if one of us has to take it home to sample and post note here, shouldn't be a problem.
Unfortunately Keith has had to drop out. I would advise against sampling outside beers in the pub, but I'm sure someone will be happy to take it away and give you some feedback later.

Yea it has a slight sweetness which can be breifly tasted after the inital hop flavour and before the bitterness settles on the tongue - I don't know if my palate is any good though!
Sounds good to me mate! I've just done an IPA with pearle pale and a touch of munich to beef it up some. Hoping for similar to what you've just described. Sounds like you'll get a few keen tasters on Saturday if you head to the SOBA meetup!

ye gods! one a day is more than enough, 2 in one weekend and i'm ready to swear off brewing! decoction mashes are hard work
Haha, I guess if youre decocting it changes everything... But the only problem I saw really was two wheat beers in one weekend :oP lol

One in a year is too many for me... hahaha
haha this is one years' worth, believe me!
