What were you drinking and where?...holiday edition.

Where have you all been for the holidays and what was your favourite holiday flavour?
To start things off we were sae kayaking in the Marlborough Sounds.
The pic is at Canibal Cove where we were marooned for a couple of days, due to some nasty norwest winds. Lucky we had supplies of Marlboroughs best Rennaissance "Craftsman".
And to top things off at Punga Cove where we spent New Years the had plenty of Founders and Moa. Shame we had to come home really.

I was drinking Epic Pale Ale + Lager, Tuatara Ardennes, Leigh sawmill pils and PA at Goat Island Campsite and beach, and at the end of the last night when my stock was cleaned out, a db draught and a tui :oX Funny how I felt sick on the way home? Wonder why?? lol

Campsite was really cool, nice view of the beach from the hills, beach was way to packed for snorkelling to be any good, not to mention the waters way too cold in NZ to actually swim in the ocean ;oP haha

Slight thread jack coming... I'm off on my hols soon to the Whangerei Heads for two weeks. To save a wild goose chase where is the best place in Whangerei to buy decent beer?

Haha, I know what you mean, when we took kegs camping one of my mates had 2 between his legs for the drive up, and they came out of the fridge at about -0.5*c!! The things people do for free beer :oD
