Pubs in Napier

Hi all. I am in Napier for a work thing and wondering where a good pub selling decent beer is.

Get to Hastings if you can - Roooooosters Brewhouse - sorry, overly enthusiastic there, it's Roosters

I had a few drinks a couple of years ago with some of the Napier guys, a couple of places, ummm, I'm not sure where really, round past the port from memory, both good selections and on a fine night (they say that's all they get) great to sit and see the ocean view and the world pass by

Get over to Rosters on Omahu Rd and try the Summer Ale

Shed 2 presents some reasonable offerings, although I haven't been there for some time.

Best bet is a little further along West Quay at Provedore. Always a guest beer on one of the taps, well worth a look in.

Gotta agree with everything Sparky says, Roosters is a great place, just watch the opening hours, not open Sunday and open Saturday 2pm-7pm, not sure what the weekday hours are.

Best bar in Napier is Provedore on West Quay, superb beer selection.

Also try the Filter Room, nice setting, okay beers and large selection of cider.Awatoto Rd R D 3 Awatoto Napier

Thanks for the tips. I did not manage to get over to Hastings, but it seems this may be the place to go. I was only there for a few nights so will have to make the effort to get over there again and be more organised! Cheers.
