Wont be me making one Rye can suck my balls!! Im going to smoke my own malt one day I have some cherry wood chips I reacon that would add a nice sweet flavour to the smoke!! seems to add it to fish!!
Im Going to brew the beer again but im going to sub the rye for something maybee for munich to fatten the beer up!! and I might add 20points of sugar, to dry it out and make it huge!!
As the forecast for rain on Saturday has changed to sun it looks like I'm brewing my second BIAB beer this weekend! This recipe was going to be my first all grain brew but as it got warm I did a Hobgoblin clone instead. Now it's gone cold again I think a lager is in order. My advice is your boil of volume 29L to 20L 9L in 1 1/2 hours it must be a vigourus boil or that that calcs are wrong and you will be woundering why you ended up with more in the fermenter or huge ciggy buts in your beer.
