My Friend in Sydney got some of this Classic Vintage at 7.5%.Coopers Extra Strong Vintage Ale will improve with age, becoming more interesting and complex in flavour for up to 18 months. Where in NZ can i try/buy this?

I beleive he stands up until he's had a skinful then he's often seen lying on his side :-)

Well you couldn't use 'unnatural' sugar could you ?

Good ol' sugar is a well respected ingredient in many of the revered brewing cultures of the world, yes ?

No need for any added sugar, that's what malted barley is for

I used to be anti-sugar but I've learned a lot and now I'm only anti-sugar-being-used-to-make-cheap-beer-and-increase-profits. Sugar has its place in many great beers.

I should have qualified my comments, i'm not anti sugar either when used for good reasons, hell i know that most of the belgium beers that i love are made with added sugar.....sugar or other adjuncts to increase profit baaaaaaaaad! and i guess that's what we're talking about, monteiths black et al
