Well it had to happen I guess... the first time in 23 years that I have dropped a full bottle of beer in my garage.
Apart from being devastated at the loss of what is (in my opinion) an absolutely lovely, strong (and probably slightly over carbonated) beer, I then had to deal with what it did to my leg after it failed said impact test on the concrete.....

Fuck yes. Best. Idea. EVER!
But it has to be a choice homemade tattoo with Bic ballpoint ink and an old compass.
Reminds me of a similar homebrew related injury a mate sustained a couple months ago.
He knocked over a bottle which proceeded to explode, showering the assembled bbq crowd with glass and beer, and putting a sizeable shard of glass into his little toe. Blood everywhere, but most distressing for the brewer was the lost brew! A fellow attendee at the bbq, who is a vet, who offered to stitch up the wound but he didn’t take her up on the offer funnily enough Seems to have healed up ok.
It was also an IPA so I wonder if there is some of hop rebellion going on,exacted on unsuspecting home brewers for trying to squeeze all those hops into the brew.
I shattered a carboy once, rinsing it with too hot water. Tidied all the broken glass into a box then slipped on the wet floor and landed in it hand first. Microsurgery, plenty of stitches and 20 years later I still have a nasty ‘suicide’-looking scar and limited sensation in two fingers and a thumb.
At least no beer was spilt, but it took me a few years to try brewing again!
