Thanks for that - I think I'll be safest to even out the floor using boards and chocks. It appears strong enough not to crack when I stand on it so once it's got an even weight distribution i'd say it'll be fine with 60kg kegs.

I can't imagine my landlord (or yours!) would be too happy with that shit on the carpet, devastating!

Nice looking set up. How is having no drip tray working out for you?

Thought I'd join in....

2nd hand side-by-side bosch fridge from trademe ($100!! bargain of the century...only had a broken freezer fan), CO2 inside, dual regulator, can only fit 4 kegs in the fridge (3 up, 1 down) and hops, yeast, bottled beer etc., in the freezer.

RaspberryPints for what's on tap.

As it's a dual fridge the all the cooling is happening on the freezer side therefore the STC probe is in vessle of water in the freezer keeping it at a constant 0C - unfortunately that means the fridge side sits at around 9C but that's okay - I could probably go lower on the freezer side but don't want to freeze my yeast/beer which has happened before!!

Cheers!

Another Trademe Purchase $150 and a retro fit to the old Water Dispenser.

Want one...

Stage 1 complete first tap on beer cold crashing, can't wait to carb up and serve. Will prob end up with 3 taps but maybe 4. Holds 4 kegs. Will paint matte black once all the cutting is done. Will post pics of finished product.

My Grandfather is a cabinet maker and is currently making me some custom tap handles so ill put up some more photos once they are done

Sam that looks awesome. What size freezer is that? Whats the smallest I could go for 4 kegs do you think?

Hi that is a 600L freezer. the rule I have found it that 400L = 3 19L kegs + a D sized CO2 tank, 600L= 5 kegs + CO2, 1200L= 11 kegs plus CO2 ect.

If you only have 4 kegs I would go with the 400L freezer and keep the last keg filled with sterilizer so that between uses you can clean the lines by hooking it up to the 4th keg
