Building a Mash tun

Well this question could be a simple one.  I have been doing a biab method for about 6 months now and not getting the efficiency I was hoping for.  I am thinking about building a mash tun and also making bigger batches, around 40-50L mark.  I can see my self doing a 2-3 high gravity beers a year but thats about it. Since I am splitting brew with a mate the main reason would be for more beer.

Any advice would be helpful.

What size chilly bin to use or just go bucket method?  

False bottom or make a manifold?

Any deals out there that could point in my direction would be great.

Hi

Years ago - I went for the chilly bin - which is ok.  Best though for me is the mash tun I have now - the top end of a hot water cylinder . The other half is my hlt. I simple use stainless wash tubing which works a gem for the manifold.  The insulation properties of a old hot water cylinder are great. Super cheap too. I am not sure why more people don't go this way.
