SS Conical Fermenters

Evening. I'll be getting in another shipment from my supplier of Stainless Steel goodies in about 7-8 weeks. My supplier has offered me a couple of SS fermenters at a discount as he is over-stocked. I'm already getting in one for display as my previous display model was snapped up (see Steve's photo here) before I opened the shop. They are seriously good quality, the welding is superb, excellent design, capable of being pressurised.

These are the conditions:

1. I'll be selling these at cost + 15% GST + 17% carriage + 10% to cover my overheads
2. They will have to be paid for in full before my supplier drops the shipment off to Shanghai port - 5th August
3. Credit card payments will be 2% extra
4. Pick up at the shop (All Grain, 22 Downer St, Lower Hutt) as they are too bulky for our courier

They are scheduled to arrive about the 11th of September. They will be insured against shipping damage and guaranteed against poor workmanship. Price is $810 for 60L version and $1080 for 120L version.

I've attached the technical drawings. Please note - the CIP fitting shown in the 120L Fermenter is not included.

Hi Karl,
I am really interested in the 60ltr conical. I was after something like a 75 but yours seems like a good deal for my first conical. Any chance of a few more close up pics of valves etc.
A bit of background on me- Chris Banks built me a nice setup earlier this year and now I am just short of a couple of conicals. Is the offer still on?

Hi John. Yes - I still have one of each of the fermenter sizes available to me and I'll be getting in one of each size for stock / display (except the stocked ones will be normal list price). I'll upload a picture sent by the manufacturer which shows the ball valves. They are all 1.5" Tri Clamp.

I think Chris might have seen the original display conical before it was sold. You could ask him for an impartial opinion maybe?

Hi there just like to say im the buyer of karls 60l conical and I just finished a irish red in it and woukd like to say it excellent quality and so easy to use and clean anybody looking for a conical cant go past one of these shes a beauty . Something about nice shiny toys. PROS easy to clean nice tri clamps, and the welding on it looks great id say you couldnt find a conical of this size and quality anywhere in nz. CONS none i can think of. Thanks karl if anybody wants some closer photos of tri clamps etc just PM me.
