Growing hops dunedin

Has anyone had any luck with growing hops in the dunedin region or is it too tropical down here?

Yep they grow fine in Dunedin. From what I've read they are a temperate plant so prefer sunlight hours to temperature, anything in the 35-55 latitude range. The only real climate problems I've had is wind but that isn't unique to Dunners.
