Slant Trade

Anyone interested in yeast slant trade? Sick of paying $20+ for a new strain. 

Pretty keen to get my hands on anything wheat, anything saison or anything lager. 

In trade I have 1272, 1275, 1968, 1007 and 1332. 

 

On a side note, what is the best way to send slants? :)

Im happy to swap, i have 1272 and 2112.  If you want the 2112 i can prepare the slide and send blanks for some of the others as well, as i have a few spare.

Hey guys, I am gearing up for slants early in the new year and happy to contribute.  

I don't have any yeasts apart from dry yeast cultures atm but if you let me know a strain that you are looking for and currently don't have, I will buy those and cultivate to share it - might need someone to collate what everyone else has I guess.  There is a similar discussion in General I think as well.

It might be end of Feb before I am up and running, maybe march if I run a few tests with them.

Glassware finally arrived after a couple week delay.  Workshop is almost ready to brew in again so hopefully brewing on the weekend + taking my first slants and canning my first wort!  Better late than never haha

I have around 75 glass vials to sell. From here http://www.discountvials.com/2-Dram-Glass-Vials-s/239.htm. They are 17 x 60mm with teflon line polypropylene lids, they are autoclavable. I am selling these at cost for $1 each + postage in lots of 10 or more.
