With all the talk about Emerson's last week did we all miss the story that it looks like Moa raised $16m in their IPO, and did it quicker than expected... by 6 days (ok my maths might be wrong)!

I was not expecting that at all, i thought they would get close but definately not have to close the offer early.

I guess it shows that they know their target and what they can/cannot get away with when dealing with their consumers/investors.

Now to work out if I can get in on that brewery expansion project...

it sounds like they already had enough investors by the time the prospectuses were posted.  I passed on the offer.

Yeah I saw that it oversubscribbed by 5% but that was before the prospectuse was sent and I had guessed a bit of that subscription would have been tyre-kicking.

I thought they would get the money, but never expected them to get it so quickly.

Believe a couple of institutions stepped up, and for them 15m really isn't so much. Lets see if the flightless bird flies tomorrow?!
