Ordering the wort and fermenting it myself. I must say, I'm kinda curious.
Liberty Brewing - When will this be available?
Tags:
I trialled this with Invercargill Brewery a couple of years ago, when I owned Liberty Brewing, with the idea of kicking off the same kind of thing. The result was significantly better than any liquid malt extract I'd tried.
This approach is reasonably popular in Canada... Magnotta brewery has been selling their "Festa Brew" kits for about 5 years now.
I've only ever tried one, but it was an entirely creditable beer. I've certainly had worse all-grain homebrew beers (even some of my own, as much as it pains me to admit that...)
Saw the article as well.
I thought I might even give it a shot. Good for experimentation I thought, to test different yeast, dry hops, or if I was having problems I could rule out my wort production as a culprit. Or just be lazy and not have to do a whole brew day for all grain wort.
I'm willing to be a guinea pig and test a batch for y'all :-D Any idea on prices Mr Liberty?
We are just finalising the pricing at the moment... but they are available now.
Is that designed to be diluted some or brewed at 15L and 1060?
Around $45 is not too bad I reckon, I spend probably 35-40ish per batch and I'm doing all the work.
I'm actually quite keen to try them out, and especially to follow all the instructions and all that to see what most guys would get out of it.
When it's finalised sign me up for one bro.
I'm not sure if it "designed" to be diluted - but it is definately covered in the instructions.
They should be online by Tuesday at the latest.
Damn... dropped the ball on this. OK - I'll get on to it tomorrow!
Sorry all - been hella busy.
