Can anyone tell me what the major national brewers of insipid “weasel piss” mean by a “full strength beer”. It cannot refer to flavour or taste, as it is virtually non-existent. Nor can it refer to alcohol content, as most are only around 4-5%. Perhaps the brewers concerned should be prosecuted under the relevant consumer protection laws. If it is a meaningful relevant description of a beer’s virtues, then perhaps it should be given a definition or value which can be measured or identified. Rather like the hopiness index which I understand can used to used to describe the hop level in beer.
