Hi Chris,
Further to my thread regarding Emersons beers, the beers I found to be off were:
1812 IPA - best before Nov '08, batch #1100
London Porter - best before Aug '08, batch #1080
Old 95 - vintage 2007, batch 1070.

None of these beers were up to scratch, the IPA was only worth tipping out, the Porter was anything but silky smooth, and the Old 95 could've passed for a Belgian ale.

This is the first time I've had anything but the most amazing experience from Emersons beers, Emersons is my favourite brewery - which made me all the more disappointed.

If the wholesaler is to blame I'll happily take the empties back and complain, I'd like to know your take on what they could have done to make the beer so dreadful.

I've struck a super fizzy bottle of Old 95, vintage 2007, batch 1089 purchased from Hastings New World.
