Surely it can be made like that in NZ? If Lion nathan can do it why cant Luke? Could make it a regular feature for xmas, epic mini kegs, would be awesome!

F**k it, just send Luke a corney and get him to fill it.... :)

Yeah. I'm with Stu - I'll have a pallet too please.

Again - why cant it be done here instead of a massive carbon footprint hauling pallets of epic half way round the world?

I want the malty cask-conditioned UK version, not just a mini-keg of Steam-brewed Auckland Epic. But sending a corny to get NZ brewed Epic is not a bad idea...

I assumed the recipe wouldve been the same? More malty? Less hops?? Really?!?!

Having said that Stu.... keg 'o kid or beer d'jour ala Yeastie?
Comment by Stu McKinlay on April 28, 2009 at 2:26pm
I don't know the actuals but I'm sure Luke could eloborate

I guess it'd be the everards house yeast and maris otter malt... Luke (and others) have mentioned that it is not quite as hoppy as here. I wouldn't mind that at all, as long as it is at least as bitter.

Even if it was exactly the same beer it would be different... no beer tastes the same in keg as it does in cask.
