where to get thermometers from

im looking for where to get a thermometer from,my pot is 45cm deep so will need to be long to poke out the top to be read. or can you get digital with a probe or something.cheers for any help.

nah you can't calibrate it unfort. Haven't checked it yet - but will. Other buttons - for both sensors, hold, C or F, 1 or .1 accuracy. BACKLIGHT.

Mate, check out www.dealextreme.com for scales and temp sensors. My temp probe cost me US$4.00 and the scales cost me US$3.00. Am getting an aquarium temp sensor (with probe) for my mash tun for US$3.00

They are amazingly cheap, free shipping (ok, you have to wait usually a couple of weeks for it to arrive)

Looks dodgy but I have stacks of mates who buy stuff from this site and I have bought lots of stuff off it and it always arrives.
