Anzor is def the way to go for stainless bits and pieces. Shame your not in wellington I could have done the welding for you (if you went that way)
Cheers Chris
Theres not much to them. Fully threaded nipple, O-ring, washer, flanged back nut or straight coupling. Place valve on front. Some thread tape, a hole and it's all done. I've used fibre washers in mine inplace of an O ring. Works fine. It is also all brass
600 length, I was renovating my house. Happy to cut some off for you if you would like. Have seen them as fully threaded nipples though. Crox nut and olive to attatch a short length of copper pipe to get to the bottom of the kettle.
Have a look at this -> Bulkhead and kettle bulkhead . Both basically what we are discussing above.
Take a piece of threaded nipple, weld a washer about 30mm in on one end (making the inside of the kettle seal) then use a back nut on the other end to make the outside seal.
I must admit, that Horace and GuyIncognito's way sounds much easier!

Guys
In all the weldless fittings I've made or bought, when i screw the valve onto the fitting with some plumbers tape for a watertight seal, the whole fitting starts to rotate and loosen..I don't want to tighten it so much it cracks the cooler wall..Any suggestions?
