It's pretty interesting, despite its insistence on using the term "boutique." It only really addresses the bigger end of the craft market, though. I'd be interested to know how the guys at Parrot Dog are doing with their brewery door distribution strategy, for instance.
Also, unintentional comedy from Lion:
"We like to call Mac's, Speight and Crafty Beggars 'popular craft' whereas Emerson's and Little Creatures [also now fully Lion-owned] may be 'experimental craft'."

"psudo-craft" or "faux-craft" might be a more accurate description than "popular craft".
Yup for me it's pseudocraft.. That and a lazy article which doesn't ask any good questions and reads pretty much like a marketing promo for Lion and their all encompassing range of beer brands.
