Galbraiths Rumour

Hi all,

A "for sale" sign on the Galbraiths building has been causing many a rumour, and I got this from the horses mouth to post here:

The rumors about Galbraith’s Alehouse being for sale are untrue. Keith Galbraith does not own the building at 2 Mt Eden Rd and it is that which is for sale. Galbraith’s are in fact in expansion mode at the moment and have a further 15 years to run on the current lease.

Please advise anyone attempting to spread the "for sale" rumour of the above. Keith is concerned business will be affected.

This sort of thing generally affects business but in a good way, free publicity from the rumour, people hearing it and running to have one last pint, only to be pleasantly surprised it will not be closing :o)

Any more detais on the expansion plans? I hope it's a second pub around the corner from my house...please, please, please

They're bottling the Munich Lager (odd for an 'ale house') so there is an expansion of sorts.

Man I'm thirsty. One friend headnig to Chch today and another posting about Galbraith's... I'm stuck in the middle with a near gale force northerly and an impending bike ride.
