Sam Calagione teams up with fellow brewer, Luke Nicholas, from Epic Brewery in New Zealand to create an authentic beer out of local ingredients to be entered into the annual New Zealand beer competition, Beervana; meanwhile trouble’s brewing back at DogFish when their acclaimed Punkin’ Ale ends up in the wrong type of glass bottles and the fear of dumping a significant amount of it down the drain looms.

They end up on the internet pretty soon after airing in the US. I seen the first one about Bitches Brew. Fairly entertaining.

The 2nd episode, which I watched last night was not the NZ one. The one I obtained was about making Checha, the Peruvian beer.
