Hey am off camping for a weekend early in november and am after a beer dispense system! i can get hold of the kegs of beer very easily, id just need the chilly bin set-up and some gas! have spoken to the mill in wellington and they wont hire it unless you buy a keg off them for $200+ ( i can get them at wholesale! )

so just wondering if anyone knows where i can hire said system without having to buy a keg!!

have managed to get hold of one of these

but its pretty old and in need of a clean! how best to clean it??
Pretty difficult if you dont have a keg and gas to hook it up to, I normally run a keg of napisan solution through the tap to clean them.. Maybe just soak it in a tub of napisan??
its a hand pump system, so i just need a container with a keg top on it that i could flush it through with a solution.

any ideas where id get my hands on one of those, preferably on loan!
that's not a "handpump"
just a picnic tap. you will need pressure to force solution out (including beer, once it is clean).

handpumps "pull" the solution through
Sorry my bad! Wrong picture. I have got hold of a hand pump. Will cleaning that be easier??
yeh, just stick your tube in some napisan solution and pull it firmly until it smells clean
So have a hand pump and have cleaned it very well, even if I do say so myself!!

Only issue is the beer it pours is exceptionally frothy. The froth mostly clears but the beer I'm left with tastes flat due to this. Any hints? Tips??

Everyone wants $80+ to hire a chilly bin tap so I'm trying to avoid this option.
