Hey guys

The last case swap went really well, it was just between AKL and ChCh, but this time round, if theres some people from Wellington keen to join in, well work something out...

So were planning on doing this again, probably once every three months or so to get feedback on our beers, and to try what everyone else is making... Im hoping this time round we get a few more people keen on this?

We need to do a few things

1. Compile a list of everyone whos keen, then decide how many batches we all do, if theres less people, well do 2 or 3 batches each...

2. Once we know whos in this time, we can vote on a date, which looks like its gonna be mid feb to mid march, depending on what works for everyone...

So ill start this off, im in :o) Who else is keen?

So it seems the general consensus is for one batch this time round, which is still plenty of beer and it will keep the postage cost down...

Stu, no need to keep you on reserve, wed all be happy to have you in, as Mr Cherry said, nothing wrong with 4x5x4 ;o)
For those of you who keg but would like to bottle off a few -

Bottle Filler
Bump... Sorry guys have been busy and not brewing, bloody slack I know :oP

So is everyone still go for this? List below, please confirm.. Im gonna assume that Kempicus isnt in cos hes moving, so ive put Stu's name down cos he said hed serve as a replacement, hope you still can Stu? If anyone else is keen to get in on this, let us know soonish please :o)

AKL - Me, Barry, Studio1, and Denimglen
WLGTN - Mike Neilson, Mr Cherry, Stu McKinley, Dale Cooper
ChCh - James P, Rusty, Herrschnapps, Ged

Im thinking 5 weeks from today? Give us a heap of notice.. So well say the weekend of the 28th of March, thats almost 6 weeks actually :oP
Yep.
How many bottles of how many beers? 750ml plastic, wasn't it?
Good stuff :o) With the above list and no changes, 11 x 750ml PET bottles each

I wonder what im gonna brew for this, such a hard decision!!
Beer Reviled, Beer.... :p

I'm going to look at a Coffee Stout, and a Pilsner so I had better get my game on this weekend!
Yum, coffee stout, that would be the business! I wanna try for something a bit different as well... Were only doing one brew each this time round cos of the numbers...
I've got Fable of the Brown Ale (a 7% "Belgian Brown") cold conditioning now that might be just about right... otherwise it'll be an Ordinary Bitter, which I'm hoping to brew on the last weekend of Feb (while smoking a cigar and drinking some Imperial PKB).
Yum Belgian brown sounds good! The only dark Belgian beers ive had are Leffe Brown and Chimay Blue, the latter being the best of course :oP

Im thinking Roggenbier with a lager yeast, or another Rye IPA, something with Rye I reckon, and lots of it :o)
When little Stu is due?
A week on Thursday, around 10am.
Two older borthers are away with their nana that weekend so I'll be brewing one of the nights... hopefully with Fritha and Sonny home too.
Awesome, congrats and all that!
