Turd of a Yeast hasnt started!! Oh well that will teach me for being a lazy cunt and making the starter with wort from the brew!! 23L down the drain!! So have to brew it again today with good old 1272!! Fuckit

Dude... Don't it down the drain - wort will last weeks in thr fridge in your fermenter!

Im leaving it in there to see what happens, but I dont have high hopes!~~!

Nah - I reckon it'll be fine... chill it down to 8 degrees... nothing can take it on then. Rack it into your new fermenter once the yeast takes off, then you have no trub in your fermentation either... true Koelsch stylez!

Mate theres no trub in there anyway, you could see through the fermenter!! You know me, I would rather brew a extra 3L of beer than get the stuff in the fermenter!!

Anyone brewing over the weekend - Christmas or Boxing Day brews ?

Im kegging my Rogue Shakespeare Stout for summer tonight ;o) But I havent brewed in a few weeks, and itll probably be another week or so until I dust off the old kettle. Still havnt cleaned it out since last time either :oO lol

Def good stock JT, but it is becoming somewhat depleted, im down to 3 kegs, and two are half full :oS

 

Still got a sh*tload of bottles tho, ill be right for a good month or so!!

Hoping to sneak something in!

Got a fresh pitch of 1469 (thanks Martin Bridges) that I'm itching to brew with. First up will be a little bitter, then I'm looking at a slightly smoked best bitter. 1469 rocks.
