I actually read your initial post about maris otter being an older malt warra and I was thinking about this last night, and then reading through my notes it seems that my Case swap brown was actually mashed for 120 mins, instead of my usual 60, now my efficiency was only better than previous brews by one or two points, but the taste IMO was a hell of alot better, more malty and full? But again I dont know if that was just a better beer or whether it was down to mashing longer??
Dude 17.4 AA = Nice!! Shit may have to up the size of the brews to accomadate the AA, as I dont realy want to be cutting of slivers from the pallet like its a hash block!! hahahaha
