Kegged this last night, hydrometer sample first of course.
Pleased with 1050 to 1009.
Good, but not the 1060 beauty that inspired it, but a reasonable balance and flavoursome enough for now and it's intended purpose
Hmm, I dunno tho, it comes through pretty strongly and may make this taste more American than I want it to, but guess theres only one way to find out huh? ;o)
Mystery all the way,
Many a gem has been found my mistake!!
Then again many people have stood in S**T by mistake too....
Still, I'd go mystery, I,m a fan of the unknown.
I put it down last night but due to a volume mistake its going to be a mystery (hopefully not too bitter) pale ale. I should be able to bottle condition about 5L after I fill my kegs so there will be plenty for you to taste :).
The mystery hops smelt pretty good so I'm not concerned about how it will turn out. The wort tasted delicious!!

It was fermenting like a bomb this morning, krausen everywhere!!
Recipe looks the goods mate!! Youre a brave man with your late additions but guess theres only one way to find out huh? Im actually quite excited about this brew, glad someone else took the plunge haha
It smells delicious in the fermentation chamber. I've lost a couple of litres through the blow off tube, and a full 200mL of yeast! Still cranking along at a bubble per second after 5 days too. I'm doubting my hydro reading now...
