Hmm, kegged, drink fresh, bottle take some time to condition ?
Nope - it was spot on last time, and that was the same recipe just with 1768 yeast. Unlike some of you crazy folks I can enjoy a beer without hops :-)

Or a New Zealand Daught Drinker ?????
Preboil gravity bang on. Wort is sleeping nicely in the kettle, will decant to fermenter in the morning.

And now I'm settling down with a Flying Dog Raging Bitch, just to prove I do like me dem hops sometimes.
Um, what was the gravity Martin (and expected FG ?) - and just how do you put that baby to bed - lid on and ?
Ever had any problems not chilling ?
Popped out & picked up some flaked wheat, all sorted for a re-brew of the Bitza Brown from a month or two back,
Hopefully I suffer the same low efficiency and high finishing gravity !
Malteurop 69.5%
Dark Crystal 4%
Pale Crystal 8%
Pale Choc 4%
Black 1.5%
Flaked Wheat 10%
Brown 2.5%

1.036 with Nottingham and 27 IBU. Super Alpha to bitter and Rakau just to use it up.
I figured that Nottingham won't let much, if any hop character through, so it'd be same to use up here
75% OG:BU ratio is a bit on the higher side for you innit JT? Recipe looks nice and complex!!
Yes, This is higher than usual for my browns - usually 50-60%
I don't expect much hop character to make it through the Nottingham factor - should be fine.

The rest are usually 60-70% though once or twice I've cocked up and hit 118 and 128%

Yes, it's a real bitza everything, seemed to work when I was using up all the odds & ends.
Hopefully it'll work when done intentionally
Oh, and don't forget to take your FG into account when looking at bittering ratio too.
Whats the calculation for that?? Never considered that really...
Well just consider if it's going to be high or low.
A higher FG will help back up a higher bitterness - or have a maltier profile - or more body
