What are your feelings on the bittering character from the 60min hop addition?
I really like it. It does hand around a tad but I feel this adds to the pizazz!!

I am brewing something very similar tomorrow. APA, is one om favourite styles. As soon as I have formulated my recipe, I'll post it.

Your Shout from Linwood Ave in Chch. Unlike the Black Rock wheat kit, this one actually contains wheat malt (or so the label says)
Yeah I remember LOL at that in the shop one day, a wheat beer with no wheat.

I read somewhere that Muntons Wheat DME is 40% wheat. I would guess that the LME would be the same.

Good luck with the fruit part. I'm planning on doing something similar one day.

Is that the black rock "whispering wheat"?? I brewed a Hoegaarden type beer with it and it came out pretty well for a k&k, probably the best kit ive ever done!!

well, I hit my OG of 1.041 but instead of 21L I got 19L. This is the second time this has happened (my water calcs need some work obviously - new to Beersmith). I worked out my eff. at 64% according to Beersmith. Something doesn't seem to be going right for my BIAB - I should be hitting 75% surely....
