Mike has some 1056 at his place from a beer that he recently finished fermenting - 100mls of that stuff will get your wort cranking... but having said that - the cells are probably coated in hop resin, and the viability may well be through the floor!
Ha ha ha .. bet your fav shop has some Stu ?

If not, I've got a couple
Kids will be up soon, so no time for homebrew shop or homebrewer house visits... anyone passing by with US05, please feel free to drop off ;-)
Yea, they can be a delight can the kids, other times they're just a brewing problem
Shame it wasn't next Friday, would've taken a Friday afternoon drive & delivered some carrots and yeast

Change of plans for me. Nothing brewing this weekend.
With two fine - ok, dry - days coming up this weekend, I've decided I'd rather be out & about with the family.
Brew rescheduled to next time I take a day off - when it usually rains anyway ...
lol, I held Enzo while I was doing the hop additions last night, tried to get him to drop a pellet in the kettle but he just kept trying to eat it :o) haha
Just like his old man eh.... a hop head! :)
Someone put a hop pellet in my glass once. I drunk it and it was not a pleasurable experience at all, even if it was cascade!
Nah, he was hungry coz Rev spent the grocery money on hops !
Damn if I saw this earlyer (damn being busy) I could of got you 1, And yeah that 1056 would be coated in oil have to spin it first!!
I doubt that it would be too late - give him a call!
Sad thing is im at 1 end of town and hes at the other end, I dont think we could get further apart in Wellington unless I lived on top of the Rimutakas?
Here we go again. Trying this today... hot water not running out of the tap so it is going to be a longer brew day than expected.
