Fellow brewers,
I have decided to quit brewing and I am offering items from my homebrewery for sale. Before I list them on trademe I thought I would give forum members the first look:

5 x 5l glass demijohns $5 each
2 x 18l corny kegs (new seals and poppets) $50 each
2 x bar taps $25 each
1 x gas regulator to fit "cellarmix" cylinder $20
1 x C02 bulb adapter for kegs (allows kegs to be dispensed on the go after being carbonated) $40
1 x stainless steel pluto beer gun $35
3 x 25l glass carboys $35 each
1 x Polarware 55l stainless steel brew kettle/lauter tun w/tap, bi-metal thermometer, false bottom $300
1 x 50l stainless steel keg kettle w/stainless steel tap (weldless kit) $150
1 x 50l stainless steel keg HLT w/stainless steel tap (weldless kit) & electric element $175
1 x 4 ring cast iron burner $20
1 x copper coil immersion chiller (to fit keg kettle, above) $30
1 x Ranco electrical temperature controller w/probe and thermowell $60
2 x 25l plastic fermtec fermenters with taps $10 each
1 x 50l plastic fermenter w/tap $15
1 x 60l plastic fermenter w/tap $15

I have never experienced an infection in my beers after brewing for 6 years and have taken especial care of all my equipment. My brewery produced 4 medal winning beers out of 4 entries in the SOBA Homebrew competition last year, including a best in class NZ Pale Ale. It will be sorely missed.

I will throw in my collection of BYO magazine (past 6 issues) and miscellaneous cleaning chemicals and other odds and ends to those who are first to respond

Please email me if you are interested: hough4@slingshot.co.nz

Cheers

Andrew! Why quit???
Andrew! I'm as shocked as Greig!
Are you selling the whole lot as one, or happy to split?
Might be interested in those cornys and the bar taps. What kind of taps are they? Also the bulb adaptor.
But why oh why?
main reason was drinking too much.

happy to split.

at the moment people have dibs on:

ss beergun
25l carboy x 1
ranco controller & thermowell
2 cornies

Barry - taps are standard chrome plated, black plastic handled ones - very common in older pubs. let me know if you are keen.
Oh Andrew, just drink less, but drink better http://www.stuff.co.nz/blogs/alefiles
