Ok, so What Are You Brewing was a hotty, as topics go.

Now I'm 15 pints into a keg I only filled on Tuesday and wondering if anyone else has a favourite at the moment ?

It's my second brown with US-Oh05 and it's better than the forst, maybe Ikept the temps down a bit during the scorcher we had in januray

I had a Naked Poppy IIPA last night at midnight. I was pretty tired at the time - but I had a whole pint. I can honestly say that it was the best tasting beer I have ever had in my whole life, and I will remember drinking it for the rest of my time. Every sniff and every sip was a pure delight right to the very last drop.

Tonight, I'll be drinking Pliny the Elder, Fullers Vintage and some more Naked Poppy.

I'm drinking Naked Poppy IIPA tonight too. What's the abv? If it is 10.3% that would be way too freaky.

My first two boys were 9lb3oz and 9lb1oz, and I was drinking a lot of 9.2% Emerson's Bourbon Porter at the time...

Gidday guys - yeah... it was something else for sure!

It's a girl, Poppy Christina, 10lbs 6oz! It was 22 hours of torture... but it was worth it in the end. People say that all the time, and you think they are full of shit. But they aren't full of shit - the have done it... and actuually know what it's like. I was with Christina the whole time... felt suicidal a few times... but in the end - it all disolves into emotional satisfaction.

Thanks for the congratulations, it all means a lot to me.

Stu - Naked Poppy is 9.5% 100+IBU 1.009FG, and thanks again for the Fullers Vintage - I'll post my thoughts on it tonight. Mikes Maniacally Mad Mixture of Malted Meal featuring the 4 C Hops is 10.6%... that's pretty strange.

What do you mean without a beer? I had a 6 pack of Monteiths Doppelbock when Enzo was born, allthough the last couple of hours saw me not drinking due to being a pasty white colour and feeling quite sick :oP lol

10lb 6oz, ouch! I bet that was hard to watch. My two were both 8lb 6oz and that was bad enough.
