New Zealand's first cask ale collaboration? Maybe...
But who really cares... all I can say as this is your chance to taste the first couple of casks of the Guest Cask Series - a pretty awesome new concept by Galbraith's Ale House. We've brewed our most requested beer ever, Nerdherder "B", with Ian Ramsay at Galbraith's Ale House. It was an honour to be let in behind the glass. Even more so to be the first ones in.
Pale malt and two types of crystal. Some extraordinarily sticky buds in the form of Sauvin, Motueka and Cascade flowers (I never want pellets again!). And Bob's yeast. All casked up and live... until, just like that, it's in your mouth. Then your belly. It's delicious! (well that's the tasting reports we have heard back so far).
Come down, try the beer, catch up with the Yeastie Boys and the team at Galbraith's...
Bonus beer blessings are on offer. "Father" Chris O'Leary of Emerson's (and ex-Limburg) fame will be there that day brewing the next beer in the series... a Red IPA. He is happy to answer all your clone Hopsmacker questions.

Looking forward to catching up at Galbraiths - I'm finally being allowed out of the brewery....... Resurrection, Bob Hudson, Bitter n Twisted, Porter, Munich..... or just a glass of fine Auckland water maybe?
